In a wide-open roller hockey clash that swung repeatedly, Frankies finished strongest, defeating the Ice Dogs Aluminum 9–6 behind a six-goal tour de force from Dan Duffy. The Ice Dogs outshot Frankies 25–21 and got a five-point performance from Dan McFadden, but couldn’t slow the late surge.
                                                  
                                                
                                                The night opened at a sprint. McFadden staked the Dogs to an early lead at 4:00 of the first (from Matt Grossman and Mike Sanchez), only for Duffy to level at 8:30. The Dogs answered at 10:11 when Sanchez finished a setup from Mason Teitelman and Dean Harmer, but Colin Young tied it again at 11:07, sending the game to intermission 2–2.
                                                  
                                                
                                                The second period featured another Dogs push. McFadden struck again at 3:48 (Teitelman), and at 6:34 Sanchez made it 4–2 off a McFadden feed. Frankies refused to fade: Young trimmed it to one at 8:53, and Duffy’s second of the night at 12:24 knotted things 4–4 through two.
                                                  
                                                
                                                Frankies seized control in the third. Kevin Basquill gave them their first lead at 1:08, but the Dogs punched back when Matt Arkowitz buried at 2:00 (Teitelman, McFadden) to make it 5–5. From there, Duffy took over—scoring at 4:28, 7:38, and 9:22 to build an 8–5 cushion. Arkowitz pulled one back at 13:20 (McFadden, Teitelman), but Duffy capped his six-pack at 15:00 to close out the 9–6 final.
                                                  
                                                
                                                For the Ice Dogs, McFadden (2G, 3A) drove the offense, Teitelman piled up four assists from the back end, Sanchez added 2G, and Arkowitz recorded a third-period brace. In goal, Harmer faced 21 shots. Frankies were led by Duffy’s six, Young’s pair, and a pivotal third-period strike from Basquill; Robert Bales turned aside 19 shots at the other end. No penalties were assessed.
